Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park Temporary Closure

In order to maintain its ecological integrity and outstanding universal value, this world-renowned natural attraction will be having its Annual Conservation Hiatus which will require it to be closed to visitors on July 01-03, 2019.
Part of the said conservation efforts are the maintenance of the park facilities as well as Staff Development programs of the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park (PPSRNP) - Protected Area Management Board.
As a UNESCO world heritage site and named as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, this kind of program is both essential and beneficial for locals and tourists alike. After all, this crown jewel also needs a break from the tourist flock, right?
And once the program is done, the PPSRNP will be open again for everyone! Planning to book your Underground River Tour before or after the closure? Click here: UNDERGROUND RIVER DAY TOUR
