Reimagine the Magic: A Festival of Lights

Paseo De Roxas St Cor Makati Ave, Cor Ayala Ave, Makati, Metro Manila

The Philippines has been dubbed as the country that celebrates the longest Yuletide season.  Christmas decorations such as lights & trees are already visible from malls, private houses, theme parks, and even the simple parks as early as September.

The Festival of Lights is one practice that has become an annual event in Makati City since 2016. This is a light & sounds show festival held at the 2-hectare landscape park of Ayala Triangle Garden. It has been continuously practiced yearly as a sign that the Christmas season is coming.
Last Friday, November 9, 2018, embarks the Festival of Lights with the lighting of the park ground. Its popularity became eminent with teens and family hence with the anticipated lighting night, the once serene park was instantly packed with people who wanted to witness it firsthand.

This year, they leveled up its game with Disney-themed decorations where you’ll see huge Mickey Mouse arrangements and sounds of the magical music of Disney in the background.
The whole Ayala Triangle Garden is being lit up in the evening with multicolored Christmas lights display every 30mins from 6pm until 10pm through the months of November and lasts until the end of December.

A visit will surely be a magical night, like a favorite fairy tale that comes out straight from a storybook, as you relive your childhood daydream at the park.

It’s open for public so feel free to check out the Festival of Lights and make your Christmas countdown more enticing!
