Art in Island is unlike
any museum, you can interact with the paintings and take LOTS of
visually-stunning photos. So, here are some tips for you
to get the full experience:
Leave your shoes and bring extra socks
Technically, you need shoes to go to places, but once you enter Art in
Island you need to leave your shoes, wear your socks or go barefoot. The 3D
museum doesn’t allow shoes inside to protect the paintings since you are
interacting with many ceiling-to-floor paintings, you need to remove them, but
if you don’t want to go barefoot you can wear your socks, you can also bring
your own bedroom slippers at the entrance. But if you forgot one, there are
socks and slippers for sale at the entrance.
Take your time
Here at Art in Island, there are over 180 3D Paintings covering 2
floors. To fully explore the whole place
you have to make time for at least 2-3 hours. Don’t rush! You can stay longer
if you like.
Be creative & imagine your shots
Here's our tip: Since the paintings are in 3D, imagine how you would look
like if you're in that art. Unleash your creativity and fun side! Through this,
you'll get to have an idea for your poses and tell an amazing story!
Pose for the Part
Now that you have an idea of how you'll be posing, it's time to be one
with the art! Some paintings feature underwater scenes, a giant cat, a giant
chair, and like the image above, a creepy creature wandering in the dark.
Strike a pose and be seamless with the painting!
Find the Photo-point
Regardless of how creative your pose is, the key point in this museum is
on how you take your photo. Check out the different angles or a vantage point
where the art will stand out and at the same time your friend or family will
look so immersed in the scene. It's also what Art in Island called
"Photo-point" or to make the final photo to look more natural.
