It's official, the summer has ended in Boracay! As the Habagat season enters the island, one challenge of being in an island is figuring out what to do and have the best time of your stay. 

Wikipedia says that, "The habagat season is characterized by hot and humid weather, frequent heavy rainfall, and a prevailing wind from the west.", and because most of Boracay activities are outdoors or water related, it has become more unpredictable and harder to play with due to the big waves and being too windy from time to time.

What is Mermaiding, anyways? 

This is the practice of wearing, and often swimming in, a costume mermaid tail and is also considered as an artistic expression of getting fit.

The mermaid tails are made from a spandex fabric that goes up to the waist and has rubber fins at the end. It comes with different sizes from kiddy size, small (S) up to extra large (XL) of various colors, so you get a chance to choose your once in a lifetime mermaid tail that fits you perfectly.

You'll have private licensed mermaid instructor to teach you the lesson from beginner, up to advance, if you're up for it. Therefore, even if you're a beginner in swimming, it'll improve your swimming skills and gain confidence in the water. 

Mermaiding has been in Boracay for a while now and the good thing about this is that it can be outdoor & indoor, rain or shine.
